Prevent the Spread of Germs
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Harvesting Scholars is taking precaution when working with clients.
Clients will continue to have a choice of meeting with me in person or through virtual sessions. I have always sanitized before and after each meeting with regard to regular cold and flu risk and will continue this practice. Hand sanitizer and Kleenex are always available, but hand washing is the best method of preventing the spread of infectious disease.
I will do my best to keep families updated to changes in higher ed practice. Know, that colleges are aware of the challenges and will find ways to be flexible.
Things to consider:
Keep regular communication with your high school guidance counselor.
Communicate with the college or university to stay abreast of changes for their institution.
Check on campus tours before departing for college visits and check on SAT/ACT test sites for cancellations before you arrive at your testing site.
Please follow the CDC’s guidelines:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Let’s all do our part to eliminate non-essential contact and prevent spreading of the virus in any way we can!
